Stemmle Plumbing of Hampton Roads

I recently contacted Stemmle Plumbing of Hampton Roads for leak detection services and was scheduled for a service visit. The plumber, Q, was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I have no complaints about his service—he did his job well. However, my issue lies with the dispatch process. When I initially called, I clearly stated that I had already had previous assessments done and that I needed leak detection. The receptionist quoted me $125, and based on what I shared, I was under the impression that this fee was for the actual leak detection service. Instead, when the plumber arrived, I learned that the $125 was just for another assessment—one that ultimately confirmed what I already knew. I was then told that leak detection would be an additional $2,500. Had the dispatch accurately communicated what I had already explained, this unnecessary visit and charge could have been avoided. Whether this was an oversight or a common practice, I highly recommend that future customers double-check with dispatch to ensure that their request is properly understood and that the pricing quoted aligns with the actual service they need. Again, I appreciate Q’s professionalism, but I am disappointed with how this was handled on the front end. I hope the company considers refining its intake process to prevent similar issues for future customers.

This company has come to my house on several occasions, each time there was a new diagnosis! So they dig up my floors and my entire kitchen for NOTHiNG! But the 2 guys I would recommend whom works for this company came out professionally and they were respectful also they handled the problem , their names are or called "Q" and Ray ....ask for them .....you will be satisfied! Don't deal with Henry !!!! Wow!

My company had an emergency situation when a water line was broken. I called Semmle and the kind lady who answered the phone made sure that she was in contact with one of their team members, Henry Shazer and his helper. They were on site within 45 minutes. They took care of the problem in a matter of a couple of hours at most. Very professional company and staff. I highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs. Note: this is not the first time we have used them and their service timing and quality has not changed!

I had Chris Pugh come out this evening at 11:45pm on a Saturday for an emergency call, he was here within 15 minutes of getting the call. He was extremely helpful, respectful, and knowledgeable. We had moved into a new apartment first day and all the toilets had backed up along with the shower drain. He got everything taken care of in about an hour, (which was awesome). He explained the process of what we had happen and how he resolved it. Overall 10/10 experience. Great work, very respectful, and and the when all was said and done you wouldn’t know someone had done any work, very clean.

I had the most interesting and positive experience with Stemmle Plumbing due to the exceptional service provided by their Technician. He goes by "Q" He not only did an excellent job but his mannerism and demeanor really stood out. "No more smell or debris from a backed up sewer !" Thank You "Q"

I am an association manager in the Williamsburg area. Chris and his crew were phenomenal. They were very responsive, and did not leave until the problem was fixed. We even met with the building owner and explain the situation thoroughly. I would highly recommend.

I just moved into a new home and have had to call you guys out here 7 times in less then a month! Each and every time you guys are here in a resonable time frame and always professional and understanding of our situation! (While we waiting on our management to approve our pipes being replaced 🫣) FINALLY today we got it all completely repaired! The two hard working young men, Coley and Q, were here from 9am until 5pm in the 95° weather working their tails off! They got the job done and were so kind and patient and communicated all day with me. I do not leave many reviews so they definitely impressed me and the whole company deserves to be recognized 🥰🥰 ( sorry such a long review,but well deserved. )
